Herzlich Willkommen im Waldhotel Kelkheim

Kelkheim

Nestled in the rolling, picturesque hills of the southern Taunus, the town of Kelkheim enjoys all the advantages of a healthy forest climate while offering good connections to the Rhine-Main area. Kelkheim is still a relatively young city; Prince Philipp of Hesse gave the new large municipality its city charter in 1938.

Kelkheim took on its current form in 1977 through the incorporation of further municipalities. The hiking trails and rich history along the way provide plenty of variety. It’s no surprise that even the ancient Romans raved about Kelkheim and its surroundings. You can visit the world-famous baths in the foothills of the Taunus or the historic churches of the Usinger Land – you’ve got both nature and culture right on the hotel doorstep.

Kelkheim also offers something for its sporty guests with a golf course and forest climbing park in close proximity to the hotel.
